Bath City fought back to earn a valuable point with a late first-half header from Alex Fisher in their 1-1 National League South draw against Enfield Town at the Dave Bryant Stadium.
The match began with an early scare for Bath as Jordan Alves nearly caught home goalkeeper Joe Wright off guard with a powerful 30-yard free-kick in the opening minute, but it remained one of the few moments of early excitement. Bath’s primary attacking threat came predominantly through set-pieces, but it was Enfield who opened the scoring on 32 minutes. Nino Adom-Malaki seized possession 25 yards from goal and fired a precise low shot into the corner of the net.
Bath responded swiftly, leveling the score within eight minutes. Joe Raynes’ long throw caused chaos in the Enfield defence, allowing Fisher to divert the ball over Wright, who could only watch as it looped into the net.

The second half saw little change, with Bath continuing to rely heavily on Raynes’ long throws to generate chances. Wright was kept busy, tipping over another close-range effort from Fisher on 58 minutes and denying Kieran Parselle’s header ten minutes later.
Enfield created several opportunities late in the game, winning multiple corners, but Bath’s defence held firm. In the dying moments, Bath had a chance to snatch the win when Alves was fouled 25 yards from goal. However, his ensuing free-kick sailed just over the crossbar, and the game ended with the teams sharing the spoils.
Meanwhile, Weston-super-Mare did not play this weekend, leaving them seventh in the standings, 13 points adrift of leaders Dorking, who also have games in hand.
