Lando Norris, the newly crowned Formula 1 world champion, not only made headlines for his racing prowess but also for the remarkable fortune of his father, Adam Norris. With a net worth estimated at around £205 million, Adam Norris outstrips the wealth of fellow F1 star Max Verstappen, who is valued at approximately £175 million.
Adam Norris amassed his considerable wealth through the sale of a successful pension advisory business and continued to grow his fortune via his investment firm, Horatio Investments Ltd. His financial achievements have earned him a spot among the top 20 on the Bristol Rich List.
Born in Somerset, Lando’s early ambition was to become a MotoGP rider, idolizing Valentino Rossi. However, following an influential karting championship experience alongside his father, Lando pivoted to car racing—a decision that propelled his rapid ascent in motorsport. He joined McLaren’s F1 team in 2019 and has since secured a lucrative four-year contract worth £80 million with the Woking-based outfit.

As his earnings increased, Norris, like many of his peers, chose to relocate to Monaco, a haven for wealthy Formula 1 drivers due to its favorable tax environment. Although initially hesitant and openly admitting he wouldn’t enjoy life there, he announced his move in 2021 after the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, acknowledging the financial and professional benefits of the move despite potential public criticism.
“I’m moving to Monaco for reasons you probably expect,” Norris explained. “It’s a common choice among drivers, especially given the volatility of this sport. People do many things in life for money, and this is just another one.”
