Lando Norris Claims Confidence After Battling Back in Bahrain

Lando Norris demonstrated his confidence and resolve by staging a remarkable comeback at the Bahrain Grand Prix. Starting from the sixth position on the grid, the 25-year-old driver powered through to finish third, despite facing a five-second penalty and engaging in a fierce battle with Charles Leclerc.

Earlier, Norris had expressed frustration, feeling “clueless” about optimizing his car’s performance during the qualifying rounds. However, after his impressive finish, which saw him reclaim the lead in the championship standings, he reassured that he possesses the necessary skills and determination.

Asserting his self-assurance, Norris stated, “I’m confident I have got what it takes. I have no doubt about that, that I am good enough.”

With his McLaren teammate Oscar Piastri securing a commanding victory at the Sakhir circuit, the team collectively celebrated a significant accomplishment, marking their first win at the venue. Piastri’s success propelled him to second place in the championship.
