Lando Norris and Margarida Corceiro Confirm Split Amid Subtle Social Media Signals

Lando Norris, the McLaren F1 driver and reigning drivers' champion, and Portuguese actress and model Margarida Corceiro have ended their relationship, marking a significant chapter in both their lives. Their split was subtly confirmed during a candid exchange with Carlos Sainz at the Bahrain pre-season testing, where Norris acknowledged his status as a “single man.”

The couple had publicly shared their relationship only last year, following months of speculation. They were seen together during Norris' triumphant championship win at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix last December. However, sources close to the pair reveal that the relationship began to falter shortly after this milestone.

Interestingly, despite their breakup, Norris and Corceiro continue to engage lightly on social media, a rarity amid high-profile splits in the public eye. Recently, Norris posted a winter-themed photo on Instagram with the caption “Left this draft in the freezer.” Corceiro responded playfully, commenting, “Nice pjs, u welcome,” hinting she may have gifted him the attire—further proof of their amicable parting.

Insiders reveal that signs of drifting apart were evident well before the Bahrain testing. Notably, Corceiro was absent from a celebratory party hosted by Norris, an event attended by many who supported his championship journey, which fueled rumors about their relationship status.

As Norris prepares to defend his title at the upcoming Australian Grand Prix on March 7-8, his focus remains firmly on the challenges ahead. The 2024 F1 season brings significant regulatory changes, which Norris acknowledges will require development and adaptation from McLaren to compete with dominant teams like Mercedes, Ferrari, and Red Bull.

Reflecting on the season ahead, Norris stated, “At the minute, we’re a little bit off, so to match the race pace of some of the others, we have to push a bit more and then we have more degradations. I would love to [win], but I don’t think there’s a responsibility. Always in life, I’ll do my best to defend it and continue it, but it’s a new season with loads of new challenges.”

While the split between Norris and Corceiro marks a personal turning point, both appear to handle the change with maturity and mutual respect, allowing Norris to focus on his pursuit of another championship.
