Lando Norris accuses Max Verstappen during Japanese GP

During the Japanese GP, Lando Norris expressed his frustration over the radio, claiming that Max Verstappen had pushed him off the track during a near miss on the pit lane exit. Despite a competitive start, Norris struggled to gain an advantage over Verstappen, who eventually extended his lead before the first round of pit stops.

As the pit stops commenced, Verstappen’s slower stop resulted in both drivers exiting the pit lane side-by-side. With Verstappen unable to give Norris more space without risking a penalty, Norris was forced onto the grass on the outside line. This maneuver made his car difficult to handle, prompting his radio accusation against Verstappen.

Although Norris and some pundits felt that Verstappen was at fault, the stewards ultimately disagreed, leading to no further investigation of the incident.
