Fans were left stunned when Kerry Katona abruptly walked off stage during a show with Katie Price. The 45-year-old later took to Instagram to reveal she had suffered a “horrendous” panic attack while performing on tour together.
The incident occurred during their latest show in Shrewsbury on September 22, part of their joint tour, An Evening with Katie & Kerry. Kerry left the stage suddenly, leaving fans confused. In a heartfelt Instagram video, she explained she experienced a “severe panic attack” that made it impossible to continue.
She shared, “Last night on stage, I had a horrid, horrid, severe panic attack—a full-on blown panic attack. I was so embarrassed. During the discussion about our childhoods, everything went dead quiet. I looked at Kate and Matt, the host, and things felt fuzzy. My heart raced so fast, I thought I was going to cry or faint.”

Kerry added, “I knew I had to get off the stage. I stood up and walked away, and I think some people thought I was just a bit too emotional, but that wasn’t the case.”
Unlike her usual routine of taking photos with fans after the show, Kerry rushed to her car and left immediately. She apologized to fans, thanking them for their understanding.
Support poured in from fans online, with many praising her bravery and openness about her mental health struggles. One supporter wrote, “Wishing you well, Kerry. Talking about your experiences helps so many.” Another said, “Panic attacks can come out of nowhere, even when you’re feeling okay. Sending big love.”
Meanwhile, the tour has faced other challenges. Katie Price attracted criticism from fans for arriving late to one of the shows. At a performance at The Playhouse in Whitley Bay, Kerry performed solo during the first half due to Katie’s delay, which she attributed to traffic. According to reports, Katie took over nine hours to arrive.
Fans expressed their frustration, demanding partial refunds and calling the situation “unprofessional.” One fan remarked, “We want half our money back because it was only half a show.” Another called Katie’s brief stage time a “joke” and lamented the lack of a proper apology.
Despite the difficulties, Kerry’s honesty about her panic attack has resonated, highlighting the importance of mental health awareness in the spotlight.
