Katie Price Spends Friday Night in A&E Amid Health Scare

Former glamour model Katie Price caused concern among her fans after revealing she spent Friday night in a hospital Accident and Emergency department. The 47-year-old took to Snapchat to share a photo of herself reclining with cling film wrapped over her eyebrows, captioning it: “What a day I didn’t plan on ending up in AandE [siren emoji] on a Friday night.”

She followed up with another snap showing the A&E sign, adding, “Not what I had on my bingo card for Friday night.” Although Katie has not disclosed the exact reason for her emergency visit, she appears to be recovering.

Katie is known for keeping her followers closely updated on her personal life, sharing both good and challenging moments. She frequently posts about her health, including hospital visits for medical or cosmetic reasons.

This recent health episode comes at a busy time for Katie, who is in the midst of relocating to a new home. She and her sister have been active on social media, sharing highlights of house hunting and furniture shopping.

In addition to her own health concerns, Katie has been vocal about the well-being of her new kittens. After one kitten tragically passed away, the remaining ones required emergency care. Katie and her partner, JJ Salter, have been hand-rearing the surviving kittens after their mother, Katie’s sphynx cat Doris, fell ill and needed antibiotics, making her unable to nurse them.

While touring the UK with friend Kerry Katona, Katie has been caring for the four kittens, who recently experienced a serious decline in health. Katie shared on Snapchat that JJ had rushed the kittens to emergency vets after their condition worsened unexpectedly.

“We’re on our way back to the vets, it’s not looking good. Fingers crossed, they are like our babies. We’re doing everything we can,” Katie said, expressing her deep concern.

She later posted an update that the kittens remained at the vet overnight, while Doris was recovering. Katie admitted she hadn’t slept well due to the situation and promised to give more updates when she felt ready.

Katie’s representative confirmed to the Mirror that she is following all veterinary advice closely to ensure the best care for her pets.
