Katie Price has shared a candid glimpse into the painful aftermath of her marriage breakdown with Peter Andre, emphasizing that despite the challenges, there are still happy memories.
The former glamour model appeared alongside longtime friend Kerry Katona during the opening night of their joint tour at Marine Hall in Fleetwood. Together for more than two decades, the pair spoke openly about their personal journeys, turning the conversation towards their ex-husbands.
On stage, Kerry teased Katie about setting her up with Peter during their time on the reality show I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! Katie revealed that after the show, Peter already had a management team, and subsequently, Kerry became their manager, humorously stating, “There were three of us in the marriage.”

Reflecting on the past, Katie said, “There are memories. They were very good memories. I’ve suffered 16 years because of it. Since the split, I’ve endured 16 years of hell. But I’m glad now that the truth is coming out on social media and people are seeing.”
An audience member noted the supportive atmosphere following Katie’s openness. Despite her hesitation—prompted by legal concerns—Kerry encouraged candidness, drawing a wave of encouragement from fans. Katie’s loyal following stood by her, showing strong support amid the ongoing drama.
This revelation comes amid a public dispute with Peter Andre, who issued a forceful statement on Instagram addressing “repeated lies” from Katie and her family. Andre emphasized the wellbeing of their children, stating that since 2018, per family court orders, their children have been under his care. He also recounted past legal rulings against Katie for false claims, which required her to pay damages and apologize, asserting that similar allegations persist today and will be confronted legally.
Despite the turmoil, Katie recently soared to number two on the Official Download Charts with her 2017 single “I Got U,” a move insiders describe as a form of “revenge” amid recent struggles. A source explained, “Katie is delighted – and it feels like real revenge to everyone after all of the drama that’s been going on recently. She won’t go quietly where the haters are concerned – she’s been so hurt and feels like she’s always painted as the bad guy, so this has truly picked her up when she needed it most.”
Support from fans, through music sales and ticket purchases, has provided Katie with much-needed encouragement during a difficult period. The source added, “It’s not been easy for Katie having to defend herself repeatedly regarding her exes. She feels like she’s a good mum and has held back a lot of what has gone on. She was always going to come out fighting, but it’s nice for her to have some support and something for herself for once – she appreciates it.”
