Katie Price has spoken candidly about the challenges she has faced, describing her life as “sad and lonely” after enduring a breakdown in 2021. In a recent interview with Closer UK, the model and media personality revealed that this difficult time led her to reevaluate her relationships and make tough decisions to preserve her mental health.
“It is a sad, lonely world. You question the friendships – why are they actually your friend? There are a lot of trust issues,” Katie shared. Following her breakdown, she removed people she doubted from her life, explaining, “After my breakdown, I got rid of anyone in my life who I had a question mark against. It’s the best thing I ever did.” She has since relocated and now cherishes a small, trusted circle of friends, including close friend Kerry Katona.
Katie, 47, and Kerry, 45, recently wrapped up their UK tour, where they shared personal stories and connected with audiences in intimate Q&A sessions, further highlighting their supportive bond.

In addition to focusing on her personal life, Katie is pursuing new ventures. She has recently transitioned into a music career, with her single “Best Of Me” reaching number 17 on the official singles download chart.
Despite her progress, Katie did not shy away from controversy in the interview, expressing skepticism about the recognition of some British celebrities. Referring to Myleene Klass’s MBE, she questioned, “I’m not against this for her, but why the f*** has Myleene Klass got an MBE? For playing the classical piano? This industry is so corrupt… But behind the scenes, they’re worse than we are.”
Myleene Klass, aged 47, was awarded an MBE for her contributions to women’s health—specifically for raising miscarriage awareness and supporting affected women. Having faced miscarriages herself, Myleene has been vocal about ensuring better care and support for those impacted.
Upon receiving the honour from King Charles, Myleene expressed her gratitude on Instagram: “Today I received my MBE for services to Women’s Health, Miscarriage Awareness and to charity. I am utterly overjoyed and humbled. Having my family there and our rainbow baby boy was extra magical in what has at times been a very dark journey for us all.”
