Katie Price Opens Up About Her Marriage to Lee Andrews and Health on Good Morning Britain

Katie Price appeared on Good Morning Britain on Monday to address recent headlines and shed light on her personal life, emphasizing that she was open to discussing any topic.

The 47-year-old reality star surprised her family and fans alike by announcing her fourth marriage to businessman Lee Andrews, 43, whom she had met only a week prior. Her mother and sister learned of the wedding through Katie’s social media announcement.

Amid a wave of speculation and accusations, Katie staunchly defended Lee, refuting claims that he is a fraudster and asserting that she has seen proof of his financial stability.

Speaking to presenters Susanna Reid and Ed Balls, Katie encouraged them to ask whatever they wished, saying, “I’m doing really good. Really happy. I’m excited to be here today for you to ask me anything you want. There’s been so much speculation, and no one really hears my side.”

On her rapid engagement and marriage to Lee, Katie reflected, “Do you ever really know anyone? My past relationships taught me that sometimes you just can’t. I’ve been through so much and many unhealthy relationships. Now, I recognize red flags and make my own decisions.”

She revealed that although she met Lee in January and got engaged then, they only married two weeks ago, and the relationship feels different. “It just feels so right,” she said.

Katie described their long-distance setup positively: “Lee lives in Dubai, so when I have the kids, I focus on them, and when I don’t, I spend time with him. It gives me space to do my work and have my own time.”

Addressing reactions to the speed of their marriage, Katie stated, “People think it’s crazy to marry so quickly, but we talk every day, FaceTime constantly, and it feels right. I’ve learned a lot and I want people to be happy for me.”

Regarding introducing Lee to her five children—Harvey, Junior, Princess, Jett, and Bunny—Katie shared, “He hasn’t met them in person yet, but they’ve seen him on FaceTime. I want to get to know him better before any introductions.”

The conversation shifted to Katie’s health when Susanna Reid expressed concern about her weight. Katie welcomed the question, explaining, “I know I look very skinny, and I’ve lost weight. I’ve seen doctors, done blood tests, even stool tests to find out why.”

She disclosed that she is not taking any weight loss drugs and is currently being tested for iron deficiency and navigating pre-menopause. Katie reassured viewers, “I am healthy, so no one needs to worry about me.”

Katie’s openness offered a rare and heartfelt glimpse into her personal life, highlighting both her challenges and her determination to live on her own terms.
