Katie Price has opened up about a renewed health scare as troubling symptoms resurface over two decades after her initial cancer battle. The 47-year-old former glamour model revealed she is currently undergoing medical tests after experiencing pain in the same finger where she was previously diagnosed with cancer.
Diagnosed with leiomyosarcoma, a rare soft tissue cancer, in 2002 while pregnant with her eldest son Harvey, Katie underwent multiple surgeries to remove the tumor from her finger. Despite the scar and a noticeable dent that remain as reminders, she had been clear of the disease for years.
In a recent conversation on her podcast with her sister Sophie, Katie shared that she has been undergoing blood tests following the discovery of a low blood platelet count, which may explain her unexpected weight loss and persistent fatigue. “I’m tired, no energy,” she said, adding that doctors mentioned a possible need for a blood transfusion to restore platelet levels.

More recently, Katie noticed a lump re-emerging on the same finger, accompanied by ongoing pain. Initially attributing it to an injury from horse riding, she grew concerned as the discomfort persisted for about three weeks. “I’m going to get that X-rayed and looked at. I hope it’s not that again,” she confided.
Despite her fears, Katie remains hopeful. “This better not be my bad news. I’m riding a positive wave right now,” she expressed, hoping for good results amid a history marked by highs and lows.
