Katie Price and her daughter Princess Andre, once seen as inseparable, are now reportedly facing tensions that have caused a significant rift. The 47-year-old former glamour model recently addressed rumors surrounding her exclusion from Princess’s new television series.
Princess, 18, who is stepping into the limelight as a model and influencer, stars in the ITV2 show ‘Princess Diaries.’ However, Katie claims she was deliberately kept off the show, while Princess’s father Peter Andre and stepmother Emily have been featured.
Adding to the tension, Katie alleges she was not invited to Princess’s 18th birthday party because the event was being filmed for the series. The show’s production is managed by Can Associates, the same management company that once oversaw Katie’s career during her relationship with Peter Andre from 2003 to 2009 — a connection now fraught with conflict.

On her podcast, ‘The Katie Price Show,’ Katie expressed her frustration and hurt over the situation: “Everyone knows she’s doing this documentary — and I’m not in it. Certain people don’t think it’s good for Princess to be seen with me. Certain people that used to look after me.”
Katie emphasized the emotional toll, saying, “It’s pathetic. I’m her mother. It’s so sad when certain people who used to look after me are now looking after…” Her words trailing off, reflecting the pain of being sidelined.
The discord even extended to Princess’s birthday celebrations, when Katie mistakenly celebrated two days early while on holiday in Ibiza, underscoring the communication gaps between them.
Katie also shared that Princess relocated from her home to live with her father temporarily during filming: “I am not even allowed to breathe near the documentary. She has been predominantly staying at her dad’s while she is filming.” She added, “Princess will live with me. It’s only because she’s been filming that she’s been at Pete’s because I am not allowed anywhere near it. She has only got about two weeks left of filming.”
Sources reveal that Princess was advised to keep public distance from her mother, leaving Katie feeling isolated — likened to Brooklyn Beckham’s estrangement from parts of his family. “Katie feels isolated and disregarded,” the source told The Sun. “She loves Princess so much and is supremely proud of the young woman she is becoming. Princess told her mum that she needed to distance herself publicly and yet chats with her all the time behind closed doors.”
Princess, in her documentary, opened up about her childhood with Katie and Peter, admitting to ongoing struggles: “I did have a counselor, I do still see her every now and then. But I don’t feel like I can really talk, so I just write everything down in my notes. I do wish, like, I could have had a happier childhood. In the sense of like, I had so many things on my plate at a young age.”
The tense dynamics between mother and daughter continue to unfold publicly, highlighting the complexities behind the scenes of celebrity family life.
