BBC Countryfile’s beloved presenters John Craven and Matt Baker have announced an exciting twist for next week’s episode of the long-running rural affairs programme. Airing Sundays at 6:15 pm on BBC One and iPlayer, the show will feature a unique special edition dedicated to the Countryfile Ramble for BBC Children in Need 2025.
During tonight’s episode, Matt Baker, joined by Charlotte Smith in Wrexham for the annual sheepdog competition, The Supreme, revealed the upcoming change. A pre-recorded message from John Craven followed, sharing details alongside Pudsey Bear about the special episode scheduled for October 5th. John invited viewers to “get ready to ramble” on a scenic farm visit, highlighting the opportunity to participate and support the charity.
This year, the show is encouraging fans to engage with the Countryfile Ramble by fundraising and purchasing exclusive Children in Need bobble hats. John emphasized the importance of the campaign, saying, “Pudsey is asking you to challenge yourself and help us make life lighter for children. Only with your support can we continue to help hundreds of thousands of children when they need us the most.”
