Jeremy Clarkson’s Accusation Against Kaleb Cooper at Diddly Squat Farm

Former Top Gear host Jeremy Clarkson has publicly accused his farmhand, Kaleb Cooper, of leaving Diddly Squat Farm immediately after being requested to help with tidying up the yard. The 26-year-old Kaleb gained fame as Jeremy’s farmhand on the hit Amazon Prime series, “Clarkson’s Farm,” which documented Clarkson’s endeavors in setting up a farm in the Cotswolds.

Clarkson recently revealed his intention to give the farm a thorough spring clean, likening the task to something “Hercules himself would describe as ambitious” in his Sunday Times column. He highlighted the tendency of farmers to hoard items, explaining that Kaleb seems to share this mentality and is uninterested in tidiness, equating it with a waste of time and money.

The situation came to a head when Jeremy asked for Kaleb’s assistance with the spring clean, to which Jeremy claimed that Kaleb promptly left for a weekend mini-break with his family in the Yorkshire Dales instead. Clarkson’s farm spans over 1,000 acres and encompasses Curdle Hill Farm, known for its rotation of barley, rapeseed, and wheat cultivation.

After purchasing the Sarsden estate in Chipping Norton in 2008, which included Curdle Hill Farm, Jeremy delved into agriculture when the farm’s tenant retired in 2019, renaming the property Diddly Squat Farm. The Prime Video series chronicling this experience has garnered positive reviews, especially from the farming community.

Kaleb Cooper had previously been involved in farming, starting at a local dairy farm at the age of 13 and later working under the management of Howard Pauling before joining Jeremy at Diddly Squat Farm.
