On January 15, Clemmie and Katie made a mutual promise to steer clear of relationships for at least six months — no men, no women, no one with a pulse. Yet just nine days later, Katie announced her engagement to businessman Lee Andrews, whom she affectionately dubbed her “real-life Richard Gere.” Within hours, photos emerged showing the couple exchanging vows in Dubai.
Rather than viewing this as a publicity stunt, Clemmie describes Katie’s actions as “so Katie Price,” reflecting her enduring love for love itself. “She cannot help herself,” Clemmie writes in The Sun. “Of all her vices, being a love addict is surely her most endearing.”

Addressing speculation about the sincerity of the union, Clemmie firmly dismisses the idea of any stunt. She paints Katie as a kind and loyal person who is simply “desperate to be loved,” echoing a universal human desire. “Sure, she doesn’t always help herself, and from personal experience, she may not always be right,” Clemmie admits, “but deep down, we all want to be loved.”
Recent reports add to the rosy picture: Lee Andrews has revealed they’ve already secured a new home and will embark on their honeymoon within 72 hours, though details remain private. Katie reportedly met Lee online before traveling to Dubai to meet him in person.
This new chapter follows her separation from Married At First Sight’s JJ Slater, who has since unfollowed Katie on Instagram. On January 23, Katie stunned fans by sharing intimate photos from her engagement, including rose petals spelling out “will you marry me” and a close-up of her ring.
