Somerset’s beloved Harry’s Cider is proudly celebrating 21 years of crafting traditional, small-batch cider and the first anniversary of its vibrant shop and taproom. Founded in 2005 by Harry and his son Toby Fry, this family-run cidery has blossomed from a modest farm project into a nationally recognized brand dedicated to quality and heritage.
To commemorate this milestone, Harry’s has unveiled the exclusive 2023 Vintage Fine Cider. This carefully crafted cider undergoes a traditional in-bottle fermentation and is aged for two years, resulting in a crisp, lively drink with a natural sparkle. Designed to elevate special occasions, it pairs beautifully with a good meal or a festive toast.
The cidery’s shop and taproom, opened just a year ago, has swiftly grown into a cherished local hub. Nestled steps from the orchards where their apples—such as Harry Masters Jersey, Dabinett, Yarlington Mill, and Browns Apple—are nurtured and harvested, the venue offers visitors a unique opportunity to experience the full cider journey firsthand.

Harry Fry explains, “We wanted to create a welcoming space where people could slow down, savor exceptional cider, and connect deeply with its origins. It’s not only about enjoying the drink but sharing the story behind it.”
Harry’s diverse range includes traditional, sparkling, fruit-infused, and mulled ciders, all crafted to highlight the rich flavours of genuine Somerset cider apples. Their dedication to excellence earned them national acclaim, including the prestigious 2022 Reserve Supreme British Champion Cider award for their Dabinett variety.
