Bath’s iconic Roman Baths have been officially named one of the UK’s premier attractions, securing the No. 7 spot nationally in Tripadvisor’s Travellers’ Choice Best of the Best Awards for 2025. This prestigious ranking places the site among the top 1% of attractions worldwide on the platform.
Each year, approximately one million visitors explore the Roman Baths, one of the country’s most cherished historic landmarks. Situated in the heart of Bath—a UNESCO World Heritage city—the site offers an unparalleled window into ancient Roman life.
Visitors can wander through remarkably preserved remains of the 2,000-year-old bathing and temple complex, stand beside the steaming waters of the Great Bath, and uncover the fascinating history of the Temple of Sulis Minerva at the award-winning museum.

The award is based on traveller reviews and ratings collected over the past year, reflecting genuine visitor satisfaction.
Coinciding with this recognition, The Roman Baths has launched an exciting summer season featuring extended evening openings and, for the first time, live music performances every Friday through Sunday. These events, staged beside the atmospheric Great Bath, provide a magical, immersive way to experience the site after hours.
The Summer Lates program runs until 31 August, inviting guests to enjoy torchlit evenings, a pop-up bar by the water, and a relaxed, atmospheric environment throughout the week. From Monday to Thursday, the Baths are open until 8 pm, while on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and the August Bank Holiday Monday, doors remain open until 10 pm. Live music will be performed from 5:30 pm to 9 pm on weekend evenings, blending heritage, culture, and vibrant summer ambience.
Visiting Bath after hours is now even more accessible, with the city’s Park & Ride services operating until 11:30 pm Monday through Saturday, making evening outings convenient and enjoyable.
