Securing tickets for this year’s Glastonbury Festival, notoriously known as the “hardest festival in the world” to attend, is a daunting task for many. The event, held at Worthy Farm, sold out in just 35 minutes, leaving many fans without passes to the highly anticipated music festival.
As the demand for tickets remains high, the festival organizers announced a resale event to provide those who missed out on the initial sale with another opportunity to attend.
To address the uncertainty surrounding ticket acquisition, fans sought advice on purchasing tickets on the r/Glastonbury festival subreddit. Questions were raised on the process of obtaining tickets, recommended resale sites, and the possibility of direct ticket sales from the festival itself.

The resale tickets for this year’s Glastonbury Festival are set to be available on April 24 and April 27. However, there are specific steps and prerequisites to bear in mind before attempting to purchase these coveted tickets.
Prospective attendees must be registered members to be eligible for purchasing tickets, which will be facilitated through SeeTickets. A user clarified the process by stating, “You need to register on the Glastonbury website and obtain a registration number. There will be a resale event via See Tickets, announced on the Glastonbury website and social media. The resale is the sole authorized avenue for purchasing tickets. Any claims of ticket availability outside of this resale should be treated as scam.”
Another user emphasized the challenge of acquiring tickets, cautioning, “Hey there, just to let you know, Glastonbury is perhaps the hardest festival in the world to secure tickets for. I know people who have attempted for 10 years with no success. Additionally, tickets are non-transferable as your face is printed on them and checked with ID at the gates.”
Highlighting the confirmed information from the Glastonbury Festival’s website, the ticket resale events are scheduled for April 24, with options for both tickets and coach travel, and April 27 for general admission tickets.
The official statement from the festival’s website clarifies, “Following the ticket balance payment window, we will be selling a very limited number of tickets for which the balance was not settled. These will consist of General Admission tickets and Ticket + Coach travel options. Tickets cost £378.50 (including a £5 booking fee per ticket) plus postage and packing at £10.25 per order (£2.75 per order for coach tickets).”
