Horse Stolen From Exmoor Field During Local Funeral

A horse was stolen from a field in Simonsbath, Exmoor, while a funeral was taking place in the village.

Avon and Somerset Police confirmed that the horse was taken between 1:15 PM and 3:15 PM on Thursday, March 12. The theft coincided with a funeral for a local resident, adding to the distress felt by the community.

Authorities are urgently asking anyone with information, or who may have captured relevant CCTV or dashcam footage during the time of the incident, to come forward.

A police spokesperson said: “We are investigating the theft of a horse from a field in Simonsbath, Exmoor, on Thursday, March 12, between 1:15 PM and 3:15 PM.
