A group of hooded suspects executed a coordinated burglary at two shops on Parkway in Bridgwater, stealing significant quantities of tobacco products and causing extensive property damage.
Avon and Somerset Police responded to reports of the break-ins just after midnight on Tuesday, March 24. Four offenders, all wearing hoods and face coverings, forcibly entered the retailers and absconded with large amounts of tobacco.
Eyewitnesses described the suspects as including one individual of notably large build, while another was seen wearing bright green clothing. The stolen goods were reportedly transported using large white branded “dumpy”-style bags. The gang fled the scene in a van parked nearby on Adscombe Avenue.
