Hollywood actor and musician Kiefer Sutherland has publicly declared Peking, a traditional Chinese restaurant in Bath, as one of his favourite eateries in the UK. While on tour with his band, Sutherland praised the independent New Street restaurant in a heartfelt Facebook video, highlighting its authentic cuisine and welcoming atmosphere.
Jun Wong, the owner of Peking, revealed that the star has been a loyal customer since 2022, consistently returning to enjoy his favourite dishes. “Kiefer is very down to earth,” said Wong, noting that the restaurant staff treat him just like any other patron.
During his recent stay in Bath, Sutherland visited the restaurant twice over two nights. Following his public endorsement, Peking has experienced a noticeable increase in bookings, with more diners eager to sample the dishes that impressed the Hollywood star.

Sutherland, who is also known for his work as an actor and producer, has been touring various UK cities, including Exeter and Bournemouth, before arriving in Bath. In a separate post, he expressed his admiration for the city, calling Bath “one of my favourite places to play and one of my favourite towns in the world.”
