In the early hours of Wednesday, September 3, several valuable items were stolen from a farm on Thornford Road in Yetminster, West Dorset. Among the stolen equipment were a Takeuchi TB016 mini digger, a green Yamaha Kodiak quad bike, a plant trailer, and a blue Ifor Williams HB511 horse trailer.
Dorset Police’s Rural Crime Team is actively investigating the theft and urges anyone with information or dashcam footage to come forward. Police Constable Lauren Middleton noted that two vehicles were seen leaving the area erratically, heading towards Somerset, and these may be connected to the crime.
“We are appealing to motorists who were driving in the area at the time to review their dashcam recordings for any suspicious activity,” said Middleton. She also urged people to report any attempts to sell items matching the descriptions of the stolen equipment, either online or in person.
