A 41-year-old man has been charged after police uncovered suspected heroin, cocaine, and ketamine during coordinated raids on properties in Northeast Somerset. The warrants were executed early on Wednesday, October 8, at homes in Peasedown St John and Paulton.
Officers discovered significant quantities of what are believed to be the class A drugs heroin and cocaine, alongside class B ketamine. In addition to the drugs, cash was also seized. The search at the Peasedown St John property furthermore revealed suspected counterfeit goods and vehicles.
Gary Browne of Brookside, Paulton, has been formally charged in connection with these findings. He appeared at Bath Magistrates' Court the following day, October 9, and was remanded in custody pending a pre-trial and plea hearing at Bristol Crown Court on November 11.

Inspector Stuart King KPM commended the neighborhood policing teams for their proactive efforts. “These warrants have removed large quantities of dangerous drugs from our streets, contributing to the safety of communities across Bath and North East Somerset,” he said. “We remain committed to targeting those who bring harm to local areas and encourage the public to report any suspicious activity.”
