Heartfelt Tribute to ‘Free-Spirited’ Woman Who Lost Life in Crash

The family of Catherine Gray, a beloved 49-year-old woman from Weymouth, has shared a touching tribute following her tragic death at the scene of a two-vehicle collision near Somerset. Known affectionately as Cath, she was remembered as a fun-loving, free-spirited soul who lived wholeheartedly for her children.

The fatal crash occurred on the A37 near Maiden Newton on Wednesday, October 22, at approximately 5:34 pm. The collision involved Cath’s vehicle, a grey Peugeot 107, and a black Kia Niro. Emergency services attended promptly, but sadly, Cath was pronounced dead at the scene.

Catherine’s family expressed their deep sorrow and enduring love in a statement:
“Catherine – also known as Cath – was a fun-loving, free-spirited soul who would have helped anyone with anything. She lived for her children whom she adored wholeheartedly. She will be sorely missed by all of us—family and friends alike. We will never forget you.”
