Heartfelt Somerset Funeral Notices Pay Tribute to 20 Loved Ones

This week, 20 much-loved Somerset locals were honored with heartfelt messages in the latest funeral and death notices. These tributes lovingly remember family members and individuals whose lives were tragically cut short.

Nineteen death notices were featured in SomersetLive’s sister print titles, paying respects to those with ties to the city or local residents who recently passed away. The messages, spanning from April 19 to April 25, offer solace to the loved ones of those being remembered. Additionally, one acknowledgment was made.

Announcing the passing of a loved one in local news media is a longstanding tradition, and the trust placed in sharing these important announcements is deeply valued. Each notice published in the newspaper also appears on funeral-notices.co.uk, the UK’s top site for death notices and memoriams.

Bob: Passed peacefully at St Joseph’s care home, Jersey on 13th April at the age of 80. Fondly remembered as a husband, father, and family man with a strong community spirit. A private family funeral is planned, with donations in Bob’s memory directed to the Jersey Heart Support Group.

Chris: Sadly passed away at the Royal United Hospital, Bath at the age of 77. Remembered as a beloved brother, father, and grandfather, Chris was a well-liked publican in Bath. These are just two of the heartfelt tributes…
