The sudden loss of 32-year-old Jordan Foy has left his family and community devastated. Known for his infectious energy and heartfelt kindness, Jordan was a devoted father who “lit up every room he walked in.” His untimely passing came just days before he was set to start a new job in Somerset, leaving loved ones mourning the loss of a remarkable man.
Jordan, a rigger who recently worked at the Tyne Tunnel in the North East, was poised to begin a new role in the South West. He is survived by his two sons, Leo, 11, and Teddy, 5, and his partner Robyn Morley. A former Middlesbrough College student, Jordan was celebrated not only as a dedicated family man but also as a passionate football fan and social soul.
Robyn shared heartfelt memories, saying, “He loved Boro and football. Time with his kids was everything to him. He was so full of life and made us laugh every single day.” His mother, Carol, reflected on his warm spirit: “Jordan was incredibly generous and loved spending time with family. He had millions of friends—workmates, colleagues, and more. He loved holidays, the finer things in life, and was always active and social.”

Jordan’s father, Gary, echoed these sentiments, highlighting the outpouring of love on social media: “No one could say a bad word about him—he was just amazing.” The community’s grief has been met with hundreds of touching tributes, celebrating Jordan’s vibrant personality and generosity.
One memorable story comes from Robyn, who recalled the beginning of Jordan’s love for karaoke during a holiday. Initially reluctant, Jordan quickly embraced singing as his new passion, delighting friends and family with his rendition of “Tennessee Whiskey” by Chris Stapleton—his signature song now honored in his funeral video.
Over 350 people have supported a GoFundMe campaign established to help cover funeral costs and provide for Jordan’s family. The campaign has already raised £15,845, far surpassing its £2,500 goal, showing the immense support from those who knew and loved him. The page states: “Jordan leaves behind his young family, who meant everything to him. His boys Leo and Teddy, and Robyn, who he adored. While no words can ease this pain, our community comes together to support the family he loved so deeply.”
Jordan’s funeral is set for Friday, August 29, at 10 a.m. in St Bede’s Chapel at Teesside Crematorium. Attendees are asked to wear a touch of blue, a symbol of tribute to a man who touched so many lives.
