Harris Fowler has raised £1,545 for two charities supporting people affected by developmental difficulties and brain injuries after staging its first Charity Golf Day at Oake Manor Golf Club.
Colleagues, partners and friends of the Taunton personal injury firm took part in the event, with the proceeds to be split between bibic and Headway Southampton & West Wessex.
Representing Harris Fowler were chief executive Grant Fowler, director Neil Williams and marketing manager Tom Marshall. Guests from Bauer, Old Mill, ARAG and Tula Medical Experts also joined the day.
Harris Fowler works with people and families whose lives have been changed by serious injuries. The firm says securing compensation can help with financial security and rehabilitation, but recovery often continues after a claim settles, with ongoing needs for specialist support, practical help and guidance for injured people and their families.
bibic provides specialist support to adults, children and young people with developmental and neurological difficulties, disabilities and brain injuries, as well as their families. Headway Southampton & West Wessex supports people affected by acquired brain injury, along with families and carers.
Harris Fowler said building relationships with charities such as bibic and Headway forms part of its wider commitment to helping people affected by serious injury access support during and beyond the claims process.
