Haim Overcome Sound Glitches During Surprise Glastonbury Set, Fans Demand Headline Spot

Haim thrilled Glastonbury attendees with an unexpected performance on Saturday, delivering an intimate yet powerful set on the Park Stage as the surprise TBA act. However, the band faced initial microphone problems that briefly disrupted their flow. Quickly recovering, the trio—Este, Danielle, and Alana Haim—pushed through and energized the crowd with their dynamic set.

Fans eagerly embraced the rare opportunity to see Haim live, even chanting “louder louder” when neighboring stage sound briefly overshadowed their mix. Social media buzz reflected widespread admiration, with fans proclaiming the trio worthy of a headlining slot. One attendee tweeted, “The irony that the best TBAs—Lewis Capaldi, Pulp, and Haim—are all brilliant and could easily have headlined! #Glastonbury2025.” Others shared heartfelt praise: “Haim have such a huge crowd my girllsss #Glastonbury” and “HAIM will forever have my heart #Glastonbury.”

Returning to Worthy Farm after a memorable 2022 appearance, the band recently expressed their fondness for the Park Stage in an interview with Jo Whiley. Alana recalled, “The Park Stage is our favourite because that was the first time we played Glastonbury. It felt like a movie.” She added, “You never forget your first time on the farm. It’s the most insane feeling, and it’s the best festival in the world.”

His heartfelt comeback was met with overwhelming support, fans singing along to “Someone You Loved” and sharing in his emotional rendition of the new single “Survive.” Lewis expressed deep gratitude to his supporters and reiterated his hope to perform again at Glastonbury in the future.
