After more than a decade away, Lentil Soup Productions is bringing live music back to Glastonbury, much to the excitement of loyal fans across the region. Between 2000 and 2012, the group earned a devoted following with their dynamic electric and techno events, regularly selling out venues and lighting up the local music scene.
Following a hiatus due to personal commitments, Lentil Soup Productions finally answered persistent calls from fans and online communities to reunite. The highly anticipated comeback gig is set for Saturday, August 16, at the Assembly Rooms in Glastonbury.
Headlining the event is the acclaimed artist Celestium, performing his first live set since 2003. The night marks the launch of his new album, with each attendee receiving a free CD as part of the experience. Alongside Celestium, the lineup includes three renowned DJs, promising a diverse and immersive journey into cutting-edge electronic sounds.

Neil Stevenson, a founding member of Lentil Soup Productions, shared his enthusiasm: “Although we’re mostly in our 60s now with a few aches and pains, our passion for music hasn’t faded. Organizing this reunion has been effortless, as if it was meant to happen. We’ve secured incredible DJs and are bringing five hours of top-tier electronic music to the stage.”
In addition to the stellar lineup, the event will feature advanced technical enhancements—a showcase of mappable 3D computer projections, lasers, lighting effects, and dual sound systems designed for crystal-clear audio.
Tickets are priced at just £10, including the new Celestium album, enabling fans to relive the magic of Lentil Soup Productions’ unforgettable performances without breaking the bank.
The reunion gig will run from 8 pm to 1 am, promising a night full of nostalgia, innovation, and pure musical delight.
