With Glastonbury Festival less than a week away, anticipation is building not just for the confirmed headliners but also for the two yet-to-be-announced acts scheduled for the iconic Pyramid Stage. While fans can look forward to performances from The 1975, Neil Young, and Olivia Rodrigo, speculation is rife surrounding the secret sets slotted for Friday and Saturday evenings.
The Friday mystery act remains a simple “TBA,” but Saturday’s unannounced performer, listed under the intriguing label “Patchwork,” has sparked intense debate. Positioned just before Raye and Neil Young at the prime 6pm to 7pm timeslot, this artist is expected to deliver one of the festival’s standout performances.
Among the frontrunners is Britpop legend Pulp, who are rumoured to be marking the 30th anniversary of their surprise 1995 Glastonbury headline when they stepped in for the Stone Roses. However, Pulp’s keyboardist Candida Doyle recently dampened hopes, revealing they opted out despite initial interest. Still, fans and betting markets aren’t convinced, with Pulp holding favourite odds at 1/2.

Close contenders include Scottish singer Lewis Capaldi, who faced challenges during his 2023 Glastonbury set but has since made a strong return to the stage, making a Saturday evening comeback plausible. Meanwhile, according to Betway odds, American sister trio Haim are the leading favourites. Having performed at Worthy Farm in 2022 and with a nearby gig scheduled just days prior, their appearance seems fitting. Fans have also noted that “Patchwork” shares its name with a novel by Sylvia Haim and a film about three sisters, adding an intriguing layer to the speculation.
Other names circulating among the rumours include Robbie Williams, Mumford & Sons, and Sam Fender, but the truth will only be revealed when the curtains rise. Until then, the mystery only adds to the festival’s legendary allure.
