This year’s Glastonbury Festival resale saw coach tickets sell out in a remarkable 32 minutes, leaving many music enthusiasts frustrated and disappointed. The resale, which opened at 6pm on Thursday, April 24, saw a rapid frenzy as eager festival hopefuls vied for tickets with transport to and from Worthy Farm from various UK locations.
Unlike previous sales, the process involved a slow-loading green bar, leading to mounting frustration and impatience among many prospective attendees. Social media was abuzz with complaints from individuals who struggled to secure their tickets as the green bar seemed to be a never-ending source of torment.
Numerous disappointed fans took to various platforms to express their dismay, with some stating that the new system was a significant departure from the previous manual refresh approach. As the coach tickets vanished within minutes, hope was not entirely lost, as a general admission ticket resale without coach travel was scheduled for Sunday, April 27, at 9 am BST.
