Glastonbury Festival-goers to face higher drink prices in 2025

Attendees of the 2025 Glastonbury Festival should prepare to pay more for their drinks compared to last year. A recent report from The Glasto Thingy, a well-known fan account on Instagram, reveals price hikes across various beverages at the iconic Worthy Farm event. With 51 stalls selling drinks throughout the festival, prices will also vary depending on the location.

For instance, the Village Bar’s Brooklyn Pilsner, which was £6.75 per pint in 2024, is expected to rise to £6.95 this year. Spirits and premium spirits are priced at £5.95 and £7.95, respectively. Meanwhile, a 175ml glass of wine will cost £7.95. On the bright side, soft drinks remain steady at £3 per can.

Though these increases may slightly impact festivalgoers’ budgets, the broad range of stalls and varying bar prices offer some flexibility. The festival’s beverage service continues to cater to diverse tastes and preferences.

In addition to the pricing news, excitement surrounds the festival’s lineup, featuring headliners like Neil Young, The 1975, and Charli XCX. Meanwhile, speculation swirls about the true identity of the enigmatic “Patchwork,” rumored to be either Lorde or Pulp. Jarvis Cocker’s band Pulp has reportedly faced challenges returning to the festival lineup despite hopes to perform this year, with plans potentially shifting to 2027 due to the fallow year in 2026.

Other potential additions to the secret slots on the main stage might include artists like Lorde, Sam Fender, or Lewis Capaldi. Past secret performances by acts such as Hozier, Jack White, and The Killers have become legendary moments for fans.

Festival organizers have been approached for comment but have not yet responded.
