Glastonbury Festival Fans in ‘Despair’ Over Tough Stage Time Clashes This Year

Glastonbury Festival enthusiasts are expressing “despair” over this year’s challenging stage time clashes, with many torn between seeing two favorite artists perform at the same time. The iconic Worthy Farm event is scheduled for the last week of June, giving attendees time to plan—but not without tough decisions.

The festival lineup is packed with standout names like Charli XCX, Geordie Greep, Neil Young, Weezer, Lucy Dacus, and more. However, overlapping schedules mean fans will have to choose between beloved acts, leading to disappointment and difficult dilemmas.

A popular post on the r/GlastonburyFestival subreddit asked attendees, “What clashes are you mourning? Let’s get the despair out of our systems now!” One user shared three particularly painful three-way clashes: Charli XCX versus Doechii versus Scissor Sisters; Lucy Dacus versus Weezer versus JADE; and Wet Leg versus Paris Paloma versus Lola Young. Each clash represents vastly different styles but equally compelling reasons to attend.

Other festival-goers echoed the struggle. Some found the Parcels versus Future Islands clash especially hard. One lamented missing out on both Doechii and Neil Young, while another explained their choice to see Neil Young this time around because he’s a rare opportunity: “He’s the only person in the lineup who I’ve got tattooed on my body.”

Fans hoping to see Kneecap were warned about potential capacity issues at the West Holts stage. Reports suggest the area could be closed off, as happened previously with the Sugababes set. Attendees were advised to consider alternative acts like Bob Vylan to avoid disappointment.

Among the toughest decisions was the Weezer clash, which sparked humorous reflections. One fan joked that their younger self wouldn’t understand choosing between the rock band Weezer and a former member of Little Mix, calling the latter a “proper guilty pleasure.” Many agreed, highlighting the bittersweet nature of festival scheduling conflicts.

In the end, Glastonbury’s diverse and packed lineup offers something for everyone—but it also means the agony of choice for dedicated fans determined to catch every unforgettable moment.
