Emily Eavis, daughter of founder Michael Eavis, spoke to the BBC about the importance of fallow years: “The fallow year is important because it gives the land a rest and allows the cows to reclaim their space.” She added that these breaks also offer attendees a chance to pause and return refreshed, emphasizing the festival’s focus on sustainability over commercial gain.

Typically, ticket registration opens around November of the year prior to the festival, so hopeful attendees should prepare for a ticket launch around November 2026.
