Glastonbury Festival 2025: Resale Tickets Sell Out in 19 Minutes

This year’s Glastonbury Festival held its final resale for general admission tickets on Sunday, April 27 at 9 am, and within a mere 19 minutes, all tickets were completely sold out. This follows the previous coach resale which also sold out in just 32 minutes on Thursday, April 24.

The highly anticipated festival, set to take place from June 25-29 at Worthy Farm in Pilton, is showcasing headline performances on the iconic Pyramid Stage by The 1975, Neil Young, and Olivia Rodrigo.

Glastonbury ticket sales have consistently drawn millions of fans worldwide, leading to disappointed hopefuls as tickets quickly vanish during both the initial sales in October and November and the subsequent resales in April.

The 2025 edition of Glastonbury introduces a new online queuing system designed to discourage manual page refreshing, incorporating visual indicators to show the progress of individuals in the virtual queue.

While the ticketing process has evolved, the festival’s registration requirements remain unchanged. Those aiming to secure Glastonbury tickets must be pre-registered online with an up-to-date photo for identification.

Ticket recipients for coach travel will receive their festival tickets while en route to Worthy Farm, while general admission ticket holders can expect their tickets to be dispatched ahead of the event.

The brisk pace of this morning’s ticket sales saw over half of the general admission resale tickets snapped up within the first 10 minutes, prompting the official ticket provider, See Tickets, to announce at 9:10 am that “Over half the Glastonbury 2025 tickets available this morning have now been sold, and the queue for remaining tickets is moving steadily.”

At precisely 9:19 am, the official Glastonbury page declared: “On a morning of incredible demand, all of the tickets in today’s resale have now been sold. Thank you to everyone who bought one, and sorry to those who missed out.”

In addition to the already announced headliners, the festival’s initial poster revealed more celebrated names joining the lineup, such as Alanis Morisette, Charli XCX, Doechii, Rod Stewart, Weezer, Loyle Carner, Deftones, The Prodigy, and Wolf Alice.

Numerous Glastonbury stages have also disclosed their line-ups, stirring excitement for the forthcoming release of the final festival poster and complete line-up.

With less than two months remaining until the opening of the gates to Worthy Farm, anticipation for the Glastonbury Festival 2025 continues to build.
