Brue Valley Farm, a longstanding family-run dairy in Glastonbury, Somerset, is set to appear on national television as part of Marks & Spencer’s new advertising campaign this month. The campaign shines a spotlight on M&S’s exclusive range of handcrafted butters, highlighting the dedication and expertise behind every batch.
Established five generations ago, Brue Valley began as a cider farm before expanding into dairy production in the 1950s. In the advert, farmers Natalie and Simon Clapp engage in conversation with celebrity chef Tom Kerridge, discussing their latest range of artisanal butter flavors.
Natalie expressed her enthusiasm, saying, “It’s fantastic to be featured again in M&S’s Farm to Foodhall campaign. We are incredibly proud of the exquisite Collection flavors we’ve created, and the positive response from customers has been wonderful. I’m continually working on new flavors here in Somerset, so watch this space.”

Amy Chandler, Specialist Technical Manager at M&S, praised the partnership, stating, “We’re proud to collaborate with Natalie and Simon to bring the highest quality Collection butters to customers across the UK. This new advert highlights the painstaking effort involved in producing every batch of our hand-rolled, flavored Collection butter. Working with such a passionate team that shares our commitment to quality is a true pleasure.”
Brue Valley currently supplies three unique butter varieties to M&S: garlic and herb, parmigiano and truffle, and the bold ‘cowboy’ flavor, which combines smoked paprika, chipotle chili flakes, and cayenne pepper for a spicy and smoky twist.
Their butter is made from the milk of West Country cows and churned in a traditional barrel for approximately 40 minutes—about ten times longer than typical mass-produced butter—ensuring exceptional texture and flavor.
The M&S Farm to Foodhall campaign is featured across TV, in-store, online, and social media platforms, with Tom Kerridge visiting M&S suppliers nationwide to share their stories. Viewers may recognize Kerridge from shows like MasterChef, Great British Menu, and Saturday Kitchen.
Brue Valley’s artisanal butters will be available at selected M&S supermarkets and online through Ocado.
