Although Glastonbury Festival 2025 has come to a close, the excitement continues with the upcoming Glastonbury Abbey Extravaganza concert on Saturday, August 9, 2025. This annual event, held in the stunning grounds of Glastonbury Abbey, brings together some of the standout performers from the festival, including the emotionally charged headliners, The Script.
The Script, renowned for their gripping performances, recently captivated audiences on the Pyramid Stage and will now lead the line-up at the Abbey Extravaganza. Joining them are Freya Ridings, the Steve Whalley Band, and the Wells Cathedral Oratorio Society. The evening will culminate in a breathtaking fireworks display, a cherished tradition of the Extravaganza.
Formed in 2008, The Script — consisting of Danny O’Donoghue (vocals), Glen Power (drums), Ben Sargeant (bass), and Ben Weaver (guitar) — quickly rose to prominence with their debut album featuring hits like “The Man Who Can’t Be Moved” and “Breakeven.” Their career boasts six Number One albums, solidifying their place in contemporary music.
