Glastonbury 2027 Tickets Sell Out in Under 45 Minutes

Tickets for Glastonbury 2027 were snapped up in less than 45 minutes this morning when general admission tickets became available at 9am. The festival, returning to Worthy Farm from June 23 to June 27 following a break in 2026, saw tickets vanish by 9.42am, according to official ticket partner See Tickets.

This year, organisers introduced a new ticket booking system aimed at preventing bots and ticket touts by limiting each person to one position in the queue, regardless of the number of browsers or devices used, reports stated.

While the festival’s full line-up has yet to be announced, previous years have featured top international artists such as Olivia Rodrigo, Dua Lipa, Coldplay, Elton John, and Paul McCartney. Festival organiser Emily Eavis has confirmed that all three headline acts for 2027 have already been secured, though their identities remain confidential. Bookmakers currently favour Harry Styles as a likely headliner, with Oasis and Madonna reportedly not in contention.

One ticket-holder, Jade Chelsea, shared her experience securing tickets during the initial sales. In a TikTok video, she described coordinating with her sister to access the queue using separate phones and networks. Jade used her home WiFi alongside her registration details, while her sister accessed the system via 5G with her own registration number.

Jade explained that while her progress bar steadily advanced through the queue, her sister’s stalled at two segments. After persisting through the wait, Jade managed to purchase tickets around 6.17am, crediting preparation such as having registration numbers, postcodes, and payment details written down to ensure swift entry of information.

She acknowledged the element of chance involved but advised using only one device per registration to maximise success. Unfortunately, tickets sold out shortly after Jade secured hers, leaving latecomers without access.
