Glastonbury 2025 Map Reveals Major Changes and Expansions

The official map for Glastonbury Festival 2025 has been unveiled, offering fans a detailed look at the site’s fresh layout and exciting changes. Released this past weekend on the festival’s website, the new map highlights the iconic Pyramid Stage—home to many headliners—and other favorite spots like the Other Stage, Woodsies, the visually captivating Park with its rainbow ribbon tower, and the magical Glade.

This year, several festival areas are expanding to accommodate growing demand. Silver Hayes will see a modest increase in size, while the vibrant Shangri-La area introduces a brand-new bar named Dragon’s Tail. Due to unprecedented ticket sales, organizers have also enlarged the public camping area at Pylon Ground, providing extra space for attendees.

Camping enthusiasts are advised to secure their spots quickly, particularly in popular zones such as Park Home Ground, Oxlyers, Big Ground, and Pennard Hill Ground. A veteran Glastonbury attendee, present every year since 1978, warns, “They will fill up very fast! So get in as early as you can on Wednesday if you want to camp in any of those prime locations.”

Notable layout changes include a significant boost in crowd capacity for the Other Stage, while the adjacent Oxylers campsite has been reduced by half. Conversely, Pylon Ground has expanded, but South Park 2 has shrunk, potentially making it more challenging to camp near Pennard Hill this year.

In the dance music zone, Silver Hayes’ Levels stage will host more people, and Arcadia returns in its iconic dragonfly form with increased capacity. The Glade area will also accommodate a larger crowd, promising more immersive experiences for its visitors.

These changes coincide with an impressive lineup set to light up the stages. On Friday, the Pyramid Stage will feature dynamic performances by The 1975, Gracie Abrams, Alanis Morissette, Busta Rhymes, En Vogue, Fatboy Slim, Lola Young, PinkPantheress, and Franz Ferdinand.

Saturday’s acts include legends Neil Young, Charli XCX, Doechii, Raye, JADE, Scissor Sisters, Kaiser Chiefs, Gary Numan, Weezer, and the politically charged rap group Kneecap.

The festival will close on Sunday with star-studded performances by Rod Stewart, Olivia Rodrigo, Snow Patrol, Wolf Alice, and more. Rumor has it that Dune star Timothée Chalamet might also be among the audience.
