Games, Laughter, and Community Spirit Shine at Bath’s Roundhill Primary Summer Fayre

The vibrant grounds of Roundhill Primary School in Bath came alive with laughter and joy on Friday, June 27, as the school hosted its much-anticipated annual summer fayre. The event brought together pupils, families, friends, and staff, fostering a warm community spirit while raising more than £1,200 to support student activities and resources.

Attendees enjoyed a variety of timeless games and funfair favourites such as welly wanging, apple bobbing, hook-a-duck, and pin the tail on the donkey. The children eagerly lined up for face painting, bounced enthusiastically on the inflatable castle, and relished ice creams from the van parked on the field.

Vicky Dupras, head teacher at Roundhill Primary, remarked, “The Roundhill Summer Fayre is a highlight of our summer term. It was heartening to welcome children, parents, grandparents, and the wider Southdown community to share in the fun and festivities.”
