Throughout the Easter Holidays

The Museum of Somerset, housed in the historic 12th-century Taunton Castle, offers free entry and a wealth of educational exhibits on science and history—a perfect day out for families. This Easter, the museum hosts an egg trail (£1 per child), with treats at the finish line. Additionally, children can join creative workshops on April 8th to decorate their own egg cups and on April 9th to create mini collections jars using pressed flowers.

Bath Racecourse invites families to an Easter-themed day filled with fun activities starting at noon. Enjoy Easter egg hunts, face painting, and fairground rides before watching exciting races beginning at 2pm and continuing until 5:30pm. For those craving an adrenaline rush, the Easter Bunny 10K in Queen Camel near Yeovil offers a thrilling challenge. Organized by Yeovil Town Running Club, this fun run attracts up to 500 participants celebrating spring with spirited competition. Winners in male and female categories receive £100, with additional awards for juniors, seniors, and veterans. Registration is open online until Sunday, April 5 at 8pm.
