Forensic Investigations Underway After Yeovil Burglaries and Car Theft

Avon and Somerset Police are appealing for information after two burglaries occurred in Yeovil during the early hours of Friday morning, resulting in a stolen vehicle from one of the targeted homes.

Between 3 a.m. and 4:45 a.m., two properties in Summerleaze Park and Ilchester Road were unlawfully entered, both involving forced access and the theft of car keys. A grey 2017 Audi S3 was stolen from one residence, and efforts to locate the vehicle remain ongoing.

The suspect is described as a white male in his early 20s, dressed in a light-colored hoodie, tracksuit bottoms, black gloves, dark glasses, and black shoes with white soles.

A thorough investigation is in progress. Forensic examinations were conducted promptly, and officers are currently reviewing CCTV footage from the vicinity to identify further leads.

Authorities urge anyone who observed suspicious activity or who may have captured relevant footage via doorbell or CCTV cameras to come forward.
