Flourish Farm Shop Opens Second Store Near Bath

Flourish, a popular farm shop and café in Saltford, has expanded its reach by opening a new site near Bath. Taking over the Road Farm Shop in Norton St Philip, Flourish has undergone significant transformation, including a larger kitchen and new deli and butchery counters.

Founded at Glenavon Farm near Bristol in 2021 by Paul Hargreaves and Paul Castle, Flourish’s second site at Farleigh Road offers an array of local and artisanal foods, from regional meats and specialty cheeses to freshly baked bread and pantry items. The new venue also features a dedicated car park for visitors.

Recognized as one of the best farm shops in Britain, Flourish has expanded its Saltford premises to include home and lifestyle brands, as well as a pottery painting barn. The site’s strong commitment to sustainability is reflected in its use of solar-powered energy, rainwater harvesting, and eco-friendly initiatives such as refills, charging points, and cycling incentives.

Paul Castle expressed his excitement about the new venture, stating, “It’s been an incredibly challenging time, but to see it all come together makes it all worth it. The team have been amazing to continue to serve during this period and I can’t wait for more customers to be able to experience Flourish in this new location.”

The Farleigh Road location boasts a menu featuring classic breakfast and brunch dishes, wood-fired pizzas, and Sunday roast lunches utilizing ingredients from the butchery and local produce. Notably, the farm shop at Farleigh Road operates as a cashless site.
