FlixBus Introduces New Routes and Offers £4 Tickets in South West Expansion

FlixBus, known for its iconic green coaches, is expanding its services with new coach routes to Somerset destinations. In celebration of its fourth anniversary in the UK, the company is also introducing more services on key routes across the country.

New coach services to Gloucester and Cheltenham with £4 tickets are among the latest additions. These new destinations are set to launch later this month, marking an expansion for the coach company.

In addition to Cheltenham and Gloucester, FlixBus will be adding Swindon and Norwich as destinations as of Thursday, April 17. The £4 tickets will also be applicable to upcoming routes to Bath, Chippenham, Newquay, Weston-Super-Mare, Bournemouth, Southampton, and Poole, which are scheduled to launch in May, according to Gloucestershire Live.

Andreas Schorling, the senior managing director of FlixBus UK, expressed, “Travel is fun and should be for everyone! FlixBus is making it so easy to enjoy trips across the country to see loved ones and explore new places even on the smallest of budgets.”

He added, “We have come so far in four years, and we’re incredibly proud of the network we’re delivering for our passengers and the economic impact we have on local communities. The popularity of our services has been nothing short of phenomenal, and we continue to grow to meet the demand.”

The company plans to have over 200 green FlixBuses operating throughout England, Scotland, and Wales by the peak of summer, connecting to and from 80 destinations.

Promotional £4 tickets are available for travel between April 23 and June 30 and can be purchased at www.flixbus.co.uk or through the FlixBus app.
