Five men have been charged in connection with a poaching incident near Stonehenge. On the night of January 29, a group of camouflaged individuals accompanied by dogs were spotted in a field near Cholderton, close to Amesbury. Concerned witnesses reported the activity to Wiltshire Police, prompting an immediate investigation.
Following the inquiry, the five men were charged under the Night Poaching Act of 1828. The individuals involved are McWhinnie, Jesse Dennard, Riley Dennard, William Goddard, and Billy Goddard. McWhinnie, Jesse, and Riley Dennard are scheduled to appear at Salisbury Magistrates' Court on Wednesday, July 23. William and Billy Goddard will face the court on Friday, August 8.
