Fire Destroys Building at Somerset’s Animal Farm Adventure Park

A significant fire swept through a building at Animal Farm Adventure Park in Berrow, near Burnham-on-Sea, Somerset, on Tuesday afternoon. The blaze broke out around 3:37 pm, prompting a rapid emergency response.

Four fire engines from Bridgwater, Burnham-on-Sea, and Cheddar fire stations were dispatched to the scene, supported by two additional appliances from Avon Fire and Rescue Service. Firefighters battled the flames with two hose reel jets, two main jets, and employed breathing apparatus to ensure safety during the operation.

The affected structure, measuring approximately 30 meters by 50 meters, was completely destroyed in the blaze. Fortunately, fire service officials confirmed the fire was accidental, stating that there is no suspicion of deliberate ignition.

The swift action by the fire crews prevented the fire from spreading further within the park, which remains a popular family attraction in the region.
