Clarks Village in Somerset is set to welcome back its popular festive ice rink, promising visitors a magical winter experience once again this holiday season.
The centre will be transformed into an enchanting icy wonderland featuring a substantial 585 square metre rink made of genuine ice. Fully covered to protect against winter weather, the rink ensures a comfortable skating experience regardless of the elements.
Opening for seven weeks from 10 November to 3 January, the rink offers a variety of themed sessions to suit all ages and preferences. These include after-school skate times, parent and toddler sessions, quiet skating periods, disco nights, as well as 2-for-1 ticket promotions. New to this year are the ‘skate and sing’ sessions, adding a fresh twist to the festivities.

Located on the lawn beside the Shoemakers Museum, the specially constructed rink is a creation of Icescape and can be accessed via a dedicated entrance from Clarks Village’s Restaurant Terrace.

In past years, Clarks Village has hosted notable events such as the World’s Biggest Santa Skate and World’s Biggest Elf Skate, encouraging participants to dress up and take part in attempts to set new world records.
Ticket sales begin on Monday 5 October, with an early bird offer of 20% off. Individual sessions last 45 minutes, with prices starting at £14 for adults and £12 for children aged 12 and under. Family passes are available from £44. Notably, at parent and toddler sessions, one child under five may skate free with every adult ticket purchased, along with free skate aids provided to assist young learners.
