Fatal Motorcycle Accident on A36 Near Somerset

A tragic collision on the A36 near Knook resulted in the death of a man in his 60s and left three additional motorcyclists with serious injuries. The crash, involving a car and four motorcycles, occurred at approximately 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 31.

Wiltshire Police confirmed the deceased was riding one of the involved motorcycles and expressed condolences to the family during this difficult time. The three other bikers were rushed to hospital and remained there over the weekend with serious injuries.

The incident caused a road closure between Deptford and Heytesbury, which lasted until the early hours of Sunday. Authorities are actively seeking witnesses to the collision and have urged anyone with dashcam footage or information to contact Wiltshire Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Team, quoting log number 101.
