The family of Scott Morris has expressed their heartfelt thanks to the local community and police for their efforts during the recent search for the 52-year-old man reported missing last Thursday, 23 July.
Scott was discovered deceased near the northbound carriageway of the M5 motorway, between Burnham-on-Sea and Weston-super-Mare. Avon and Somerset Police confirmed that the body, believed to be Scott’s, was found in this area.
In a tribute shared via Avon and Somerset Police, Scott’s family conveyed their deep appreciation for the support they received and acknowledged the difficult time they are experiencing. They respectfully requested privacy as they mourn his loss.

Authorities have stated that the death is not being treated as suspicious, and investigations continue accordingly.
