Family ‘Devastated and Angry’ After Beloved Cat Found Decapitated

The family of Whiskey, a cherished 15-year-old cat, is grappling with heartbreak and anger after the horrific discovery of her decapitation. Whiskey was found mutilated on the driveway of a nearby property on Willis Road, Kingswood. She was quickly taken to a veterinarian, who then alerted the police, according to reports from BristolLive.

Whiskey went missing after being let outside around 10 p.m. on Tuesday, June 3, and never returned home. Described as a loving and friendly cat by her owner’s daughter, Whiskey’s disappearance turned into a tragic mystery.

In an emotional statement, the owner’s daughter expressed the family’s devastation: “We are completely devastated and angry that someone could inflict such cruelty on a defenseless animal.” The family is urging anyone with information to come forward, hoping to alert other cat owners in the area.

“We just want answers and hope that others will be more vigilant,” she continued. “If anyone hears or sees anything, please contact the police.”

Whiskey’s family fondly remembers her as full of life despite her age. “She had so much love to give and will be deeply missed. We hope to see justice served for her.”

The family’s Facebook plea emphasizes that Whiskey’s head is still missing. They are asking residents near Willis Road and Randall Close to check gardens and waste bins for any clues.

The message reads: “If you live around Willis Road, Randall Close, or the surrounding areas, please take a moment to look through your gardens and bins. We are extremely grateful to the kind lady who found Whiskey and took her to the vet.”

As the investigation continues, the veterinary clinic declined to comment. The community remains shaken, hoping for answers and justice for Whiskey.
